Job Title: Business Development Manager – ITALIAN MARKET

We are looking a Business Development Manager in charge of acquisition of medium-high value accounts. Reporting to the Business Development Team Leader, you will be responsible to find new business opportunities through acquisition of partnerships in the hospitality and leisure industry, in order to drive and accelerate top-line revenue and margin growth through recurring and successful deals bringing new experiences to the Smartbox products.
•Grow our offering to customers by finding and signing high value Partners in line with the sourcing plan.
•Manage your own pipeline and balance short and long term priorities.
•Develop and share creative solutions to objections.
•Negotiate the make up of experiences, including pricing and commission, to create profitable and desirable products for customers across Europe.
•Train, coach and build the team’s commercial capabilities.
•Sales and Account Management experience in a B2B environment (ideally 3 years).
•You’re a hunter, this is 100% acquisition so you need to be resilient, organised and motivated.
•Comfortable with long sales cycles and managing a pipeline of opportunities at various stages.
•Track record of delivering growth in Hotel, Restaurant or Leisure sectors its preferable.
Native Italian and fluent in English (professional competence). Knowledge of the Italian market is compulsory.
•Active listening skills that enable you get the most out of every interaction with Partners and Colleagues.
•Accurate and detailed to ensure your products are marketed correctly.
•Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Oracle preferable.
•At ease using MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint and similar tools.
•Data driven and analytically competent to be able to build and present compelling business proposals
•Self-driven with the ability to work as a contributor and leader.
•Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead difficult situations in order to unblock processes and get the things done.
